A White House official familiar with the matter says Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel used Clinton as a go-between to ask Sestak to drop out of the race against Republican-turned-Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter. The official said Clinton discussed some type of executive branch service for Sestak that would allow him to continue serving in the House.

Sestak said no to the offer, stayed in the race and defeated Specter in a primary earlier this month.

The official spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak ahead of the White House’s official response to the issue.

Isn’t this an impeachable offense? Interfering with elections and such? Impeach Obama!

Remember Rod Blagoyjavich (sp) and that fiasco? Everyone thought what he did was wrong for wanting some payback for horse trading the senate seat of illinous. I think we have established that this is teh type of horse trading done by the White House and he jsut wanted his fair share of the profits. This type of horse trading is part of teh chicago style of politics. Obama and his cronies are smart though and they understood that by using Clinton they wouldnt have any blowback since he isnt an official representative of the white house. But then again maybe they are lying and they decided just to throw Clintons name out there to appease the republicans who are calling for an investigation. hmmm

So whats the big deal….the Bushies routinely used to try to find “alternative opportunities” for republican candidates considering challenging an incumbent in the primary….whats wrong with doing that. He would have been offered a political job not a career job. Presidents routinely give ambassadorships and cabinent positions to those who are their political supporters.

Wow ! What a surprise. I would have never believed it – well maybe if I read it in Yated. We all owe our deepest gratitude for the Jewish community as a whole for putting this bozo into office, and I’m sure if there was another election next week, they’d vote for him again. I really have to try to withdraw my attention from this stuff before Shabbos, cause it aggravates the crap out of me and ruins my Shabbos.

If the media will not make a fuss of it nothing will happen if it was a republican administration it will major news for weeks and will ask for all kind of investigation and impeachment

This is only the beginning. This administration is really transparant, exactly as he promised it will be. Except, the trancparency shows the usual Chicago mafia style politics.

Do we have an extradition treaty with EY in case Rahm doesn’t want to come home voluntarily??

This is much ado about absolutely nothing. It’s politics 101 and though it might be embarrasssing to some, it’s cerainly not illegal.

I wish you would be so cynical about the superstitious stories in our communities as you are about this….you’ll all believe a story that the chofetz chaim excorsized a dibbik, or that people have ruach hakodesh when answering a question, but then you doubt that rahm immanuel shed tears at the kosel? you think that obama should be impeached?? when george bush did far worse things, including putting his best friends company in charge of affairs in iraq, at many times the price and with complete corruption, then you stuck up for him…

.. wasnt it our ‘dear’ President that said he will bring a change to how Politics are done in Washington?

oh yeah.. this is some change..

in my opinion, the worst part of him, is that he portrays himself as an always right, straight forward as can be. He is a dirty crook and by now we all know it.

    Thanks for the Transparacy..

Wouldn’t facilitating the federal law violation be part of a conspiracy, and so a violation of law in itself? Shouldn’t Clinton *finally* get what’s coming to him

I demand that congress set up a special prosecutor to start impeachment trails now and to get read of this illegal president. This is against federal law, not a joke. Where’s eric holder another bum.
