Israel – The government of Israel has suspended flu vaccinations nationwide after four men who had been inoculated died in the past week, the Health Ministry said. “I ordered to stop the vaccinations until things are made clear,” Israeli Health Minister Yaacov Edri told reporters.
“We have started to investigate everything related to this case,” he said. The ministry said it had asked the French firm Aventis, which manufactured the vaccine, to conduct its own investigation.

Many more people DIE of the flu than are seriosly injured by the flu vaccine.

Several members of my family went for flu shots here in the US about two years ago (they have medical conditions; it was highly recommended that they therefore receive flu vaccines). They got such severely adverse reactions, it’s hard to remember even now, it was so difficult and scary. They were out of commission for a very long time. One almost died as a result.
They are now NEVER getting another flu vaccine, according to doctor’s orders. And based on subsequent conversations with others, there are many people (with or without chronic health problems) who will likewise never agree to take another flu shot again.
