Rockford, I’ll – Racist Vandalism in Neighborhood

Rockford, I’ll – Police in Rockford are investigating at least two incidents involving racist vandalism on the city’s northeast side.

In one case, a couple who are of Swedish descent found a swastika and an anti-Arab slogan spray-painted on their garage. They believe the intended victims were the family next door, who are of Arabic descent.
In the second incident, a Jewish family in the same neighborhood found a swastika painted on their front door.
Rockford Police Sergeant Klint Kellet said the cases are being regarded as criminal damage to property pending further investigation.
