    Lakewood, NJ +MVA Hit-N-Run+ A deer was struck by a vehicle on North Lake Drive near Hope Road, but was gone when police arrived.

    Nathan Zlikovitz of Lakewood called police to report the accident, which happened as he was driving on North Lake Drive, said Sgt. Robert Smith. Patrolman Robert Anderson responded to the accident and is investigating, Smith said.
    The deer ran off after being struck, Smith said. Zlikovitz was able to drive his car from the scene of the accident, Smith said.

    Maybe it was a Mexican Deer. If so, no charges. As for the ticket, well, he’s just one more anonymous illegal so it won’t be paid and will be counted as a deficit in the budget after included as projected income. See that? These illegal deer raise our taxes…

    The police caught up with the deer it has no license no insurance and it was unregistered so he has to come to court on monday

    Sad hit and run. I told the Deer to wait for the police but the Deer told me that he had no insurance.The deer could not be tested for DWI.
