Riverdale, Bronx, NY – A pedestrian was killed when she was struck by a city bus near the Henry Hudson Parkway in the Bronx.

The aided Rachel Levy, 51, from Schieffelin Avenue was hit on the parkway’s southbound service road around West 235th Street. She was declared dead at the scene.
The bus’s driver did not realize anyone had been hit and did not stop, the police said. No charges were expected, they said.
