“We saw a crying volunteer, and at first we did not understand what was happening – he has seen many disasters before,” Zaka volunteer Isaac Bernstein told The Jerusalem Post.

“Then he started shouting, ‘That’s my wife! That’s my wife!’ We took him away from the scene immediately,” Bernstein added.

Ben-Haim was taken to his home in Bet Hagai by his colleagues.

Israeli police and inspectors around the car shot up outside the Jewish settlement of Kiryat Arab in the West Bank, late 31 August 2010. Four Israelis were shot and killed near the Kiryat Arba settlement in the West Bank, the Israeli army confirmed, in an attack coming just ahead of the resumption of Israeli-Palestinian direct negotiations. A military spokeswoman said two women and two men were killed while riding in a car at the Bani Naim intersection near Kiryat Arba, an Israeli settlement located just outside the city of Hebron. She said that the attacker or attackers opened fire from a hiding spot. According to Israeli media, one of the dead was a pregnant woman. All four victims were believed to be of the same family. Baruch Dayan HaEmes!
Obama should wake up and realize who he is asking us to negotiate with. Netanyahu should not sit down with them.

To No. 1…..Have you no respect for the niftar that you would exploit her tragic death and insert this into a political debate. Having her husband come to the U.S. would be a great “photo op” but would contribute nothing towards finding a workable formula for a peace settlement

    Enough!!!
Stop the “Piss Process” non-sense already.
Time to go back to what worked, retaliate thousand-fold and then bury the arabs in pig-skins. They fear the pig skin burials more than anything else.

Who are your going to retaliate against, No. 5?? Who do you want to kill and bury in chazer-skin? Your mindless rant is in the great tradition of certain rabbonim who also just make these kinds of mindless threats without any realistic alternative to a political settlement. Daven for Bibi’s success this week in Washington and save your threats for some other internet site.

You lost your mind #5 . Why continue talking so that our President should be reelected. Jewish blood doesn’t mean much to him. It seems that it does not mean much to you either. Years ago the State of Israel went to war for acts like those.

    To Cool Masmid

For the very last time, most of us agree that Rav Yosef, shlita, is among the gadolim of our generation and he is among the great talmeidi chachamim. But he also has chosen to be a political leader of the sephardic community in EY and in that role, his recent comments were about seeking death for the Palestinians were irresponsible (at least in my opinion). As reported here on VIN and elsewhere, he did not narrowly limit his comments to Palestinian terrorists affiliated with Hamas but seemed to make a blanket comment seeking death for all Palestinians.

I don’t agree with HaChacham Ovadia on many things, and when he came out with his recent statement, it upset me to read it. I think that he shouldn’t have said it….
but that doesn’t mean that he’s wrong!

    Baruch Dayan HaEmes.

I pray that Hashem grants strength and comfort to the loved ones of the deceased and an eternal place in Gan Eden for those who were murdered.

To #3…What “peace” settlement or process? You can’t make peace with people who want to kill you for no reason other than that you are Jewish. Unfortunately, it would be like sitting down to negotiate with H—-r (may his name be erased) in 1942.

    reply to #12 :

What kind of idiot writes something like this about the president of the united states?

Do you realize you can be charged with a federal crime for threatening the president?

I know, I know, you didn’t threaten him, you said someone else should do it…it’s still a crime they can come to your door and pick you up for.

    Unbelievable stupidity.
