Rep. Peter King said in an opinion piece in Sunday’s Newsday that he intends to “break down the wall of political correctness” in the debate about what he calls Islamic radicalization.

Bloomberg was asked Monday about King’s plans.

The mayor said he does not agree with King and said the hearings are not appropriate.

The mayor was among the first and strongest defenders of the right for Muslims to build a mosque in lower Manhattan, near ground zero.

King is a Republican from Long Island. Bloomberg is a Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-independent.

Bloombum is not appropriate and is only objecting to these much needed hearings because of his business interests in the Middle East.

King’s only interest is to get some time in front of the TV cameras in his new role as Comittee chairman as the Republicans take over the House. This hearing would only lend more credence to the steretyping of muslims and would result in more problems for yidden worldwide. Remember that we have our own share of lunatic radicals within the Chareidi and religous settler groups in EY and their supporters here.

If Peter King thinks it’s something to do, I’m all for it. Bloomberg has reinvented himself as a weasel, while King is as straight a straight-shooter as straight-shooters come.

Bloomberg is so vocal and visible when it comes to speaking up for islam. What is he afraid of?! That the truth will come out. He turns out to be a spineless liberal. Unlike Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York and Rep. Peter King.

Rep. Peter King is so right on this subject. We are at war with radical terrorists…what would the politically correct Mr. Bloomberg expect those in power here in the USA to do…ask the terrorists to behave.
