Washington – President Barack Obama is condemning a bomb blast at a Jerusalem bus stop that killed one woman and injured more than 20 other people. Authorities say Wednesday’s attack was the first major one by Palestinian militants in the Israeli capital in several years.

Obama offered condolences and called on those responsible to end such attacks. There was no immediate claim of responsibility but Israeli police blamed Palestinian militants.
The president also condemned the firing of rockets and mortars from Gaza in recent days and extended condolences to the family of four Palestinian civilians who were killed there on Tuesday. The four were killed by a wayward Israeli strike intended for Palestinian militants.
Obama stressed the need for calm and urged all parties to prevent further violence and civilian casualties.
We are still waiting for Obama to condemn the brutal slaughter of the family last week.
Obama “condemns” on the one hand, but his actions encourage this sort of horror.
why does our president not tell his buddies to remain calm when we attack them. Seemingly they can act like beasys it is only another jew killed butwe have to have restraint. I just hope we get this despicable muslim out of office very fast. He has done way to much damage already.

The Palestinians don’t care or honor lives. They send their rockets from civilian areas, so that Israel will retaliate and then get blamed for killing civilians. Israel then has to appologize and look bad in the media.

Condemn, negotiate, discuss, concede. All this verbal junk for an enemy that is brutal, barbaric, and inhuman. There is nothing that will ever bring about a reduction in violence except the stuff that disables them. Bibi needs to act with power, decisive force. And Obama needs to support it fully and lavishly. Tell those animals that we (Israel and US) will decapitate them, and we will make the world a terror free planet. All aid to countries that celebrate terror will stop retroactively, and nothing from US will be allowed to reach the hands of terror. Stop talking. Condemnations are cheap. No terrorist cares about Obama’s opinions. They might understand the sword, maybe. Let’s eliminate as many present and future terrorists. Ultimately, only our excelling in teshuvah, tefillo, and tzedokoh will help, but our hishtadlus must make sense.

To #21 -What was your point when you stated “The 1973 war started under Nixon”. What it Nixon’s fault that Golda Meir and Moshe Dayan were negligent, and underestimated the strength of the Egyptian and Syrian armed forces? In fact, it was Nixon’s actions which saved Israel following the initial setbacks, when he authorized a massive airlift and resupply of fighter aircraft, tanks, artillery, munitions, etc.

In 1956 in response to continuous attacks by the fedayeen and the closure of the suez canal Israel entered Egypt routed the Egyptians and then was forced by President not Hussein Eisenhower to retreat which forced a new war in 1967 with more Jewish casualties. In 1973 Yom Kippur under President tricky dick Nixon [Hussein?] Sadat attacked Israel , Israel retreated and had heavy aircraft losses due to Soviet Sam missles and at the same time Syria attacked Israel and Israel was almost to use nuclear weapons. TheU.S.A. waited until Israel was at the tip of utilizing nuclear weapons which correctly prompted Nixon top deliver F 16 from the flight line to Israel. Israel did not have enough spare pilots to transport the jets. President Bush imposed a no sale order on Israel for a deal with the Chinese regarding an over-the-horizon radar system. Somehow the Republican party has become the new savior. Considering the so-called new aspiring intellectual lumen of female Republican candidates starts saying tehillim for this country and of course Rush the new secretary of State.
