    Jerusalem – United States Secretary of Defense Robert Gates arrived in Israel Thursday and spoke to reporters alongside his Israeli counterpart Ehud Barak.

    “No sovereign state can tolerate having rockets fired at its people,” said Gates, after Barak voiced similar sentiments.

    Of course, but watch Obama speak about the tragedies that befall the Palestinian “people” when Israel retaliates in the same breath as his condemnations of the terror. I’m glad that Gates said this much, but it takes the White House to follow up with some TOT. Otherwise, it is just talk, talk, talk.

    Politics as usual. You didn’t hear him say the U.S. of A. will demand an end to the Palestinian side war tactics & terrorism. You didn’t hear him say the U.S. of A. will cancel all further funding to Palestine and any Arab country that supplies them. With friends like these, who needs enemies!?!
