Washington – The White House says President Barack Obama will travel to Philadelphia and New York next week to continue pressing his energy policies and to attend an annual meeting of a civil rights group headed by activist Al Sharpton.

The president will travel first to Philadelphia on Wednesday to hold a town hall meeting at Gamesa Technology Corp., a Philadelphia area manufacturer of wind turbines.
He will then continue to New York for the 20th anniversary of the National Action Network. Major topics at the meeting are education, health care and youth violence. Sharpton has also drawn attention to double-digit unemployment in the black community.
For the sitting President of America to sit with the likes of Al Sharpton is a cause of great concern. Have we all forgotten the role that Al Sharpton played during that sad chapter in American history. Marching at the front of mobs yelling “kill the Jews” , spewing nefarious words of vehemence and hate at the Cato funeral against the “Jewish Diamond merchants ” ( with the ” Honorable” David Dinkins sitting at his side applauding this violent diatribe ) and encouraging mobs to take to the streets and cause civil disorder. Have we forgotten the Korean boycott , the Tawana Brawley incident ?
It would behoove the President of our country to seek out more appropiate people to associate with. Legitimatizing the likes of Al Sharpton adds another sad chapter to the actions of the President.

Carol Costello of CNN had the chutzpah the other day, to render a personal opinion, pertaining to the potential Presidential candidacy of Donald Trump; she stated in so many words, that Trump was not qualified. However, when that rabble rouser Al Sharpton ran for President in 2004, Costello was notably silent. I guess that she has two different standards. Let us also not forget, that former Mayor Ed Koch met with Sharpton, and stated that “he was a true friend”. Also, Caroline Kennedy met with Sharpton, when she was considering running for office. In 2004, not one of the potential democratic candidates for President, had the guts to bring up Sharpton’s sordid past. A leopard never changes its spots!

Not even an ex President should be in the same room with Al Sharpton and worse make a trip to meet with him. The leftist black radical in Obama is rising to the surface. I for one have not forgotten the riots of August 1991 and Al Sharpton’s racist and anti Jewish role in them…. or any other of his shameful stunts.
