Eighty eight people were murdered in the city in the first three months of this year, a drop of nearly 21% over the same time period in 2010. Shootings declined 14%, while overall crime was down 3.5%.

If you rent to low class people then you will have high class crime, plus what is the maleh of living in bedford stuyvesant, is that considered williamsburg?
Come on, Most of the new bars are the Yuppies & they wouldnt hurt a fly.
I think cops in williamsburg deserve a medal! the medal of honesty! you see, they come to an assault scene, (I saw one a couple of weeks ago) the accused claims self defense, and cops threaten to arrest the accuser. Even though there are many witnesses, only the accuser is bloodied, where the accused has not a scratch! That’s how cops everywhere play with statistics. Sooo it’s either after covering up, crime is too high, and they get such a high rating, or they don’t know how to cover up!
B”H in the yiddish neighborhood it’s relatively quiet thanx to shomrim who devote their time to protect the residents.
This is rather an increase in reporting crime
