Handley, who was off duty at the time of the crash, has been suspended, officials said.
Yep, that’s NYPD’s finest for you. Maybe his trial for DWI can start right after the 2 cops accused of rape ends.
Of late, there seems to be a preponderance of New York’s Finest, who have been arrested, and charged with DWI. What gives here?
nothing gives. its typical nypd
It’s not a “preponderance” of NYPD. There are over 35,000 officers. Policing is a high-stress job (jokes about coffee and donuts notwithstanding, it’s a tough job). If only 10% have a substance abuse problem (alcohol or drugs), that’s 3,500 people.
Was he also talking on his cell phone?????
