The feisty former politician made the assessment Monday as Mayor Michael Bloomberg signed a bill renaming the Queensboro Bridge in Koch’s honor.
The 86-year-old Koch was the city’s 105th mayor. He helped repair the Queensboro and other bridges while in office from 1978 through 1989.
The Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge links Manhattan and Queens over the East River.
The George Washington Bridge connects upper Manhattan and Fort Lee, N.J., over the Hudson River.
Personally, I think buildings, bridges, hospitals, etc should be named after dead people!! That is just a personal opinion!!
