Obama says that’s because most people are confident that he was born where he says he was — in Hawaii — and are more worried about gasoline prices and unemployment than conspiracy theories or birth certificates.

State officials long have certified that Obama was born in Hawaii. But Donald Trump, the real estate tycoon and possible GOP presidential candidate, has revived questions about Obama’s place of birth.
Obama says Republican efforts to go after him in a politically expedient way create problems for them.
The more time we spend on this meshuagaas the better for Obama since it diverts attention from substantive issues. Why does VIN seem to have joined Fox news and the other right wing media in focusing on this day after day notwithstanding that most Republican leaders (from Bohner and Cantor on down) have said its a lie and there is no issue here.

Before you say what a nut I am, please preface with why Obama hasn’t released his real birth certificate.
I can’t get a drivers license without giving them a copy of my birth certificate, but he can become President without knowing where he was born or show his birth certificate????

It’s not that Mr. Obama was ineligible to be president because either he was not born in Hawaii or because his father was not American, or because he renounced his citizenship to go to school in Indonesia. No, that is not the point.
When United States voters voted for a Barack Obama, they were not voting for the current occupant of the White House. They were voting for me. I’m the real Barack Obama and he is not. And I can prove it! I will show you my business card. It reads Barack Obama. Obviously, my business card proves that I am Barack Obama. If he can use a Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth to prove he is/was a natural born citizen, then I can use my business card to prove I am the real Barack Obama.
By the way, since I am the real Barack Obama, and I want to get re-elected, I want Donald Trump to run for president. If he does, he will win 25% of the vote, the Republicans will get 35% of the vote and I will win 45% of the vote and will be re-elected.
We should introduce a new law “any person running for president must show a valid birth certificate” let’s see if Obama will veto it.
Again, the morons come out from the woodwork, randomly stringing together the rantings of radio show hosts and Internet bloggers as if any of it were true to prove their point.
1. If you request a copy of your birth certificate from the state of HI, all you get is what Obama has shown us. In 32 states, that is the case. You no longer get a copy of your original birth certificate anymore.
2. The “2 million dollar” lie told by Palin and Trump was disproven last year. That figure is the total amount of his legal fees since the election (FYI: McCain’s was $1.3 million at last count”. Now, some has been sent answering requests for Obama’s BC. Every time his lawyers have to send a response letter, Obama has to pay them. 3. The document he provided and the certification of the governor of HI is what the law requires. You are not entitled to, nor do you have a right to see anything else. The State of HI, per the Constitution, can decide who can and cannot see the original. By law, you have no right to it.

I went to the NYS DMV office in Monticello NY in early summer 2010 to renew my drivers license. I asked for the enhanced version of the license, which allows one to drive into Canada without a passport. I brought along the copy of my birth certificate from Beth El Hospital in Brooklyn NY which is probably equal to a certificate of live birth. I am USA born, served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War..decorated for my service and honorably discharged, never once was in trouble with the law, pay my taxes etc etc and was refused the license because it wasn’t a certified NYC copy. Mr. Obama with many hidden facts in his background (ie. college records, passport records) was found fit to run for President..does that seem a little one sided??? Even if he was really American born why all of hidding of other relevant background information???

Mr. Obama is a very sensitive and industrious human being. He is talented in the legal arts but he is no conniving whore. I do not think that Mr. Obama could possibly last more than 10 months if the truth was he was not eligible for the office he holds. He works as a man with a clear conscious. That should be clear to anyone who sees him perform and challenge the medium of the day. So I never have a single concern about his right to serve as our President. I do not think he owes us a birth certificate and I believe he should do all in his power to ensure his success as our 44th President. Make sense?
I love the fact that Trump is playing this up, he is doing all the dirty work for the Republican party, by planting the seeds. They will play good cop bad cop and come out smelling like a rose. Brilliant, I love it.
If there would be any shred of legal validity to all these postings the teapotties would have long ago grabbed unto it and simply proven his inegibility for the office of the President but it is paranoic conspiracy theory by people who haVE nothing better do . What a coincidence! Mr. Obama has a social security number from Connecticut. Was he born in Connecticut too?
Did he ever get a driver’s license? Can you get a driver’s license with a Certificate of Live Birth? When he travelled out of the country years ago did he obtain his US passport with a certificate of live birth? I heard that the former Chinese leader Sun Yat Sen also had a Hawaiiam Certificate of Live Birth. How could one verify this?
Did Mr. Obama receive a Fulbright Scholarship to attend Occidental College AS A FOREIGN-BORN STUDENT? The Obama birth certificate that I saw on the web says he was born in Kenya. I am always suspicious of groups and individuals who choose name calling over refutation. Please don’t call me names if I am skeptical of his “Born in the USA” claim.
His friends are Bill Ayres, Rev. Wright, and Rev. Al Sharpton. His idol is Saul Alinsky. His wife said after a primary election victory, “This is the first time in my life that I am truly proud to be an American.” He promised “Hope and Change.” He took over the banks, the auto industry, the insurance industry and is moving to take over health care.

The saddest part of this whole thing is that EVERY, fact checking organization has disproven the birther conspiracy theory. Even some of the looniest of TV/radio entertainers have finally admitted that there is absolutely no evidence to show that he wasn’t born in HI.
I realize that most people who subscribe to the “birther” idea are not terribly intelligent and have no respect for facts. However, these ignoramuses walk around shouting from rooftops that they are “conservatives”. You cannot be a birther AND be a Conservative. You can be a right-wing nut, but the Conservative movement respects FACT more than anything else. Since there are no facts to support the “birther conspiracy theory”, these ignoramuses misuse the label.
I have to wonder if Trump is secretly plotting FOR Obama. The more this conspiracy theory remains in the headlines, the better Obama does in the polls. All Conservatives are NOT birthers, and those who are, are destroying the chances of a Conservative victory.

If the speaker of the house ,in line for the Presidency accept unequivocally the president’s citizenship right how do ou argue otherwise. I believe the Speaker of the House should know at least as well you .
