Washington – Disgraced Helen Thomas to Head Anti-Israeli Rally

    20

Washington – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to Washington may not be the bed of roses he was expecting. In addition to his speech in front of the US congress and the vote of support he is set to receive from the Jewish lobby AIPAC, he will also likely to face a thornier welcome.

A number of US groups are organizing “Move Over AIPAC” – a meeting they say will expose “the extraordinary influence AIPAC has on US policy”. Among those behind the initiative – journalist Helen Thomas.

The “Move Over AIPAC” website is quite proud of 90 year-old Thomas’ connection to the initiative. Thomas, has become notorious after stating in an interview that Jews should get out of Palestine and go back to Poland and Germany.

Thomas will speak at the anti-AIPAC meet as an honored guest. The meeting will be taking place May 21-24 in Washington DC, parallel to the AIPAC lobby’s meeting.

This is like the ending to a 1950’s game show. “Will the real Helen Thomas please stand up” She has the right to protest, I have the right to tell her to go to hell!

America takes pride in giving its citizens the right to speak their minds. Helen can voice her opinions proudly and unashamedly, whatever they might be, whether pro Israel or anti Israel!!

This is not the first time that AIPAC has dealt with this. Many times there are anti-AIPAC protests, but AIPAC never responds. These people want a response but we should give them no attention. They want to draw all the people away from their meetings, but as it has not happened in the past, it most likely will not happen again.

    Dear Helen,
Do you really believe that Jews can return to the countries they ‘came from’ prior to arriving in Israel? Since you are of Lebanese decent yourself and a worldly informed journalist who has had a prestigious career and has been able to influence the national debate on US foreign policy, I am sure that you are aware of the demographics in Israel, that the majority of Jews come from Arab countries and the non-Arab Islamic world. Do you honestly believe that Jews can return to Libya, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Afghanistan and so on… Where we Jews lived long before Arab and Muslim conquerers came and colonized the area. Since there has been a very real ‘ethnic cleansing’ of the indigenous Jews that lived in the Islamic world, do you suggest we return to the places that our grandparents fled for their lives from? A place that until today does not acknowledge the ethnic cleansing that was perpetrated on Jews? Or should the Jews that came from Turkmenistan, Iraq,Uzbekistan, Egypt, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, and so on, should they “go back to Germany” as well?

    Sincerely,
A Jew who could care less about you

Someone should present Helen with a new broomstick, as her old one has worn out!

Look guys, shes an old lady and shes doing her best to do what she really thinks is right, right? Shes clearly on the wrong side, but God always created a many of people that were great leaders in some capacity but fought for the wrong cause. They never win and they will always of course be a memory to us. How about General Robert E. Lee? Great man, Wrong side of history.

She should rather protest the horrific treatment of women in Arabic countries and should count her blessings that she doesn’t have to dress like they do or be oppressed like they are and can have the free speech she has. Maybe she should go back to where she came from so she can be oppressed like that. And if she would say she doesn’t want to, then, well…why not…(?)…little hypocrite…

I was once told by an assoiciate who is Jewish and born in Lebanon that it was the Lebanese Christians who where worse to the Jews than the Muslims. The Christians and the Muslims then went on to fight between themselves for power. Israel came to the aid of the Christians. I believe that Helen Thomas is of a Lebanese Christian background. The woman has her loyalties all screwed up.

Ms. Thomas either has lost her wits or has done a good job hiding her biasness for much of her career. Thankfully, Ms. Thomas has shown her true feelings to come out and revealing to everyone her hatefullness. Consequently, her support is meaningless to the main stream media.

Why is this stillan issue? HELEN THOMAS IS LEBANESE. She’s an Arab. What do you expect from her? If some other Lebanese person was going to head this thing, would we be surprised? No. So why should she be different?
