New Jersey – Solomon Dwek, the failed real estate developer who became the central figure in a huge New Jersey corruption scandal, will not be sentenced until March 5, 2012, U.S. Judge Jose L. Linares of the District of New Jersey ruled on Wednesday.

Dwek’s sentencing has already been delayed three times in three years, The Star-Ledger reported, so the latest rescheduling is not a stunning surprise.
Given the rescheduling of Dwek’s sentence, it appears that the investigation and resulting prosecutions have a way to go.
YIMAH SHEMO VEZICHRO!
That means he’s spilling the beans on some more unfortunate ppl, Someone shud prob put him out of his misery
Me simcho loish ?
der eibershter takes care of a musar
He needs to cooperate with ‘them’ to save his skin; but how will he save his soul? Unfortunately, he went from the highest echelon of his community, to being one of the lowest dregs of society. Even the youngest elementary school child knows what happens to snitchers in the school yard; let alone what happens in jail…
Jewish history is full of people like him. They were all greedy, evil and ruthless. The חתם סופר once asked to say a hesped on a מוסר by the name of Simcha. He said “שמחה בארצך ששון בעירך”
ווען שמחה איז אין דרעד קען דעהר גאנץ שטאט פרייען
באבוד רשעים רנה!!!
Why would they not finish with him ? Why do they keep pushing off his sentencing ? What do the Fed’s still need him for ? What are they gaining by postponing ?
I went with him and a few other Long Branch boys collecting many years ago in Deal on the night of Taanis Esther and I’ll never forget as we went from house to house(to houses that never would have opened their doors) as soon as he said its Solomon Dwek through the intercom, within seconds the door opened and we were taken in so warmly and in some cases he would shmooz with them for a while and needles to say we got a nice donation. This happened house after house that evening. Thats the name he had back then, and now………
I really don’t get all this anger directed at him… he’s a crook who turned state’s evidence to save his own skin. But the only people he’s getting in hot water are other crooks. Does anybody have any reason to believe that this guy is going to be responsible for the conviction or sentencing of any innocent people? Or are you just committed to the Jewish version of the mafia’s code of omerta?
Hashem is in charge and everyone gets their just rewards. He will get his and the ones he massered on, obviously are getting theirs as well. No matter which way you look at it, what they did was wrong as well and not according to the Torah. If he is such a Rasha that Hashem made him the korban to turn them in then there is a reason for that as well. If Hashem wanted them protected and to continue to sin unabated they would have. Everyone gets their onesh in the end either on this world or the next.
