Deputy Foreign Minister Mehdi Akhoundzadeh, who will chair the conference, said the focus would be on Israel’s policy of nuclear ambiguity and its refusal to neither confirm nor deny its alleged possession of nuclear weapons.

“The United States and its allies continue to put pressure on countries like Iran that have no nuclear weapons, while ignoring Tel Aviv’s looming nuclear threats to the Middle East,” Akhoundzadeh told news network Press TV.

Iran claims that its nuclear programs are peaceful and solely for civil purposes, however, world powers fear that Tehran is using the same technology to develop weapons of mass destruction

Iran has denied the allegations that it is developing arms, saying it is entitled to pursue a nuclear program, including uranium enrichment, as a signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and member of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Israel has not signed the NPT.

Tehran says that instead of attempting to block Iran from developing it civil nuclear program, world powers should focus their attention on Israel, whom Iran claims operates its nuclear efforts covertly.

    (Reply to #2 ): Don’t puke.
    Do something productive.
Write to your representative in Washington.
Protest in front of the embassies of hostile countries.
Listen to the Maccabeats sing “One Day.”
    Just don’t puke.

The sad truth is that they have a valid argument. Iran is trying to bring the worlds attention to focus on israel’s nuclear power, which will put pressure on Israel. Israel doesn’t want this to be in the headlines and that’s exactly what Iran is doing.
