James Stafford, 22, of Connecticut, and Brice Farrell, 25, of Maryland, were charged with reckless endangerment.
Emergency Service cops were sent to the bridge and arrested the men, who told police they wanted to take pictures.
“We don’t see anything it terms of an attempt to damage the bridge,” Kelly said. “What it does is put our police officers at risk to climb up on the bridge to get people down.
is the NYPD so naive???????? oh so they believe those 2 people??? please dont tell me that! so now its pictures and then what…. chas vshoolem i don’t even want to think about it….
These idiots think that everything they do is right. You can’t talk to them.
(Reply to #1 ): sounds like you’re the one being naive. There are many photographers and artists that live and work in williamsburg near the bridge, and are often seen on the bridge taking pictures of manhattan’s landscape. Of course, what they did by climbing the bridge was wrong, but not everybody is a terrorist. So why jump to any conclusion?
