New York State has established guidelines so needy New Yorkers can receive the meat next year.
Last year, the government killed 1,676 geese in New York City and western Nassau County.
Did they test the meat for pesticides? I’ll bet that these geese will become landfill again because in the past the meat was always contaminated and unsuitable for human consumption.
It could be a problem if they intend to send any of these geese to kosher food banks since only the most experienced chassideshe shochtim have the skills to work with geese because their neck skin is so thick.
Why not Masbia?
Geshtupte Genz!
Would have to be starving to eat urban wildlife.
I hope they test them well before they feed them to people. Wild birds carry tons of infectious diseases.
