At the request of Rabbonim, shuls, yeshivos, and the broader tzibbur are joining in the tefillos that are said throughout Eretz Yisroel on Sunday evening, 8;30 PM (Yerushalayim time), which is 1:30PM Daylight Saving Time.
Let us all be mispallel for a refuah sheleimoh b’korov for Yosef Sholom ben Chaya Musha.
At age 101, Rabbi Elyashev remains the paramount leader of both Israel and the Diaspora Lithuanian-Haredi community, and many Ashkenazi Jews regard him as the posek ha-dor, the contemporary leading authority on halakha, or Jewish law.
L’Refuah Sheleimah Bimhairu
