London – Despite a recent move to classify mobile phones as possibly carcinogenic, the scientific evidence increasingly points away from a link between their use and brain tumors, according to a new study on Saturday.

A major review of previously published research by a committee of experts from Britain, the United States and Sweden concluded there was no convincing evidence of any cancer connection.
It also found a lack of established biological mechanisms by which radio signals from mobile phones might trigger tumors.
The latest paper comes just two months after the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) decided cellphone use should be classified as “possibly carcinogenic to humans.”
“We are trying to say in plain English what we believe the relationship is. They (IARC) were trying to classify the risk according to a pre-set classification system,” Swerdlow said.
The largest study to date, published last year, looked at almost 13,000 mobile phone users over 10 years.
The conclusive scientific evidence that cellphone radiation is harmless has been around for many years, as has the conclusive scientific debunking of the so called “studies” that show it is harmful.
For political (and monetary) reasons, certain groups have chosen to ignore the facts.
The jury is still out on the matter. Some cancers take decades to develop. Also, all these studies were done at a time when people just made phone calls. With the amount of data people now use on the phones the exposure is going up tenfold.
Every day it’s another story… Butter was bad – margarine was good now it’s the opposite. Same for smoking and eating eggs.
Who knows anymore….
The cell phone industry is a multi-billion-dollar business. Were the researchers who claimed there is no link between cell phone use and risks for cancer completely unbiased? Can they assert that there is no risk, 10 or more years from now, for repeated cell phone use by children, teens, or young adults?
My bobbie used say” viler Aron gezint, farmach der poem! ” (if you want to be healthy close your mouth )
She meant don’t over eat. But I guess you can apply that” bubbe meisseh” To cell phone use too! ..;)
Let’s explore who paid for this
“scientific study”. Probably funded by the phone companies. The other study was probably funded by Someone who wants to sue deep pockets of phone companies
Is this going to be another Climate Change story where data was fabricated?
I’m not going to believe this evidence AGAINST connection so quickly!
There is so much money involved, that i don’t trust the money-makers not to get up to all necesary tricks including murdering, to stop evidence being publicized.
And the words “no convincing evidence” don’t convince me too much either.
