Weprin, a Queens Assemblyman, was picked by the Democrats last week to run in a September special election for the remainder of Weiner’s term in the House of Representatives.
The Republican and Conservative Parties have tapped Bob Turner, who got about 40 percent of the vote when he ran against Weiner last year.
Of the 67,000 votes Weiner received last year, about 3,000 were on the Independence line.
Weiner resigned last month after admitting he sent graphic photos of himself to women across the country over the Internet.
whoever you elect can’t be much worse.
I’d go for the republican. they will both do right by NY ers but the republican will be better most likely on national issues.
