“Not to take anything away from the NYPD,” said Robert Gottheim, District Director for the Congressman in an exclusive interview with VIN News, “but the FBI has considerable experience in cases such as these. They have resources that can aid in this case including manpower, equipment such as helicopters, invaluable expertise in their computer systems and vast databases, all of which can be used in the search. Furthermore, if G-d forbid the boy was taken across state lines, the FBI’s experience and resources could prove to be of great significance.”

The FBI agents were deployed from the New York Field Office, the largest office outside of FBI headquarters outside of Washington DC and Ms. Fedarcyk assured Congressman Nadler that they are very experienced in cases such as this.

Gottheim expressed his hope that with the FBI, NYPD and Shomrim all working together that this case will have a positive outcome in the very near future.

Nadler was interviewed tonight by Zev Brenner link here

The combination of the FBl and the best police department in the nation, in addition to hundreds upon hundreds of volunteers, and prayers worldwide, will hopefully result in the prompt and safe return of this young fellow.

Call me crazy but I think the NYPD can compete with FBI on local affairs.
They have boats, buses, chppers, armored tanks, swat teams, hostage negotiators, secret inteligance, counter inteligance and anything else you can think of.
Quite frankly, I think there are too many chefs in the kitchen.
May the Almighty dispatch His team and get the boy home safe!

Just a thought that we should check the old train tracks by 18th and 56th by the park, all the way up and down the tracks. If he was on 18th ave and he tried to go to 57th street and 15th ave to his house he would have run into a dead end at the tracks and maybe he went down them.

i know its along shot but we took so meny long shots so maybe we should take one more and check all 7 11 camras beacuse yesterday was 7/11/11 which means that 7 11 gives out free slurpees and maybe he found out about it and decided to walk over and get a free slurpee and he got lost (or c”v worse) on the way there or back, and also if thay werent checked yet all parks should be checked beacuse thats a likely place for a lost child to decide to spend the night (and possibly if he was at the park at night a freek c”v could have taken him). Hashem we are all beging you to have the boy returned safely!!!
