Brooklyn, NY – Of all possible destinations, Levi Aron chose to spend the Fourth of July weekend in the same Florida city as the Casey Anthony trial just as it was reaching its shattering conclusion.

His second ex-wife later asked herself if Aron intended to attend the child murder trial in Orlando that had the whole country riveted.
“That made me wonder also if he was trying to be in the courtroom,” the ex-wife, Debbie Kivel, said yesterday.
Aron may not have watched television as a child, but he sure did as an adult, and he had surely seen some of the coverage.
And with the jury beginning its deliberations, it would have been hard not to overhear conversations about the nightmare case in which a young woman was charged with smothering her own child and dumping the body.
But instead of heading for the trial of the accused child killer who had become the American Monster, Aron made what now seems an even creepier choice. He headed for Orlando’s usual big draw, the capitol of childhood, Walt Disney World. He told his ex-wife on the phone that he had gone to live out a dream and audition for “American Idol.”
“That was a big dream of his,” the ex-wife said. “He told me they raised the age so you could be older and still compete.”
The age limit of 28 is, in fact, unchanged, and the show held no auditions in Orlando that weekend. The 34-year-old Aron was almost certainly speaking of Disney World’s year-round “America Idol Experience” attraction.
Anyone over 14 is eligible to audition for the make-believe reality show and maybe even perform onstage. The ones who receive the most audience votes at each night’s finale get a Dream Ticket that affords a chance to audition for the real show.
Only, there is a hitch. A winner can only use a Dream Ticket if he is no older than the show’s maximum age limit, which is not expected to change.
Not that it really mattered, for Aron does not seem to have made it anywhere near a Dream Ticket. He told his ex-wife on the phone that he had auditioned for the real “American Idol,” but in the next moment, he seemed unable to lie even to himself.
“Oh, I’m just kidding,” he said, according to her recollection.
As I figure it, Aron could only have felt all the more a loser as he strode back through the crowds of kids at America’s childhood capital, only more possessed by urges that would soon prove so horrific.
Even at Disney World, there must have been a buzz about the nearby trial. If audiences had voted for the winner of the American Monster title, it surely would have been Casey Anthony.
Aron returned to Brooklyn just as the jury was reaching its verdict. No matter how crazy he may or may not be, he could only have been surprised when Anthony was found not guilty. One juror who gave a televised interview was rewarded with a trip to Disney World.
Six days after the verdict, Aron chanced to spot 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky looking lost on a Brooklyn street. Aron has told police he later smothered the child and then disposed of the body.
A major difference from the Anthony case was that Aron had no handy place for an unmarked grave. He chose to dismember his victim and place him in a suitcase that he then deposited in a Dumpster. He kept the feet in his freezer for reasons that may remain unclear.
That ghoulishness and the surveillance camera footage of little Leiby waiting trustingly combine to make Aron the undisputed American Monster.
Investigators note that the case turned on numerous chance events. It may well be only another of Evil’s coincidences that Aron made his trip to Orlando just as the Anthony case was going to the jury.
Anthony was released from jail last night just past midnight. Let’s just make sure the other monster never, ever walks free.

This just goes to show what the American Justice System has done. Casey Anthony and O.J. are the biggest stains on the American Justice System for acquitting murderers. – What goes around, comes around.
Sadly, the prosecution didn’t prepare enough evidence to convince those numb-skulled jurors that she was, in fact, guilty.
I hope and pray that the prosecution will not let the monster get away with this!!!

Enough already. Why carry these sories that are based on speculation by his ex wives, who don’t have very impressive backgrounds to begin with. One is in prison and the other works at a Pizza Hut. Nothing is acomplished by posting these stories.
I hope some haimisha people will be part of the jury and make sure this monster gets locked up till his last breath. Maybe if the trial will be now when the news is still hot and not in 3 years from now.. Hell is not hot enough for him!
i think its worse for her to go free then put into jail she will have to make a living to pay for having a place to live for food this is more difficult for someone who will be shunned and not hired to to work people will not hire her, in jail she is scott free no rent to pay no everyday worries so i think to go free is worse for her then jail.
I would rather ask if Levi saw the recently released Ryan Gosling film “All Good Things” — about Robert Durst (heir to billion dollar NY real estate empire.) Durst admitted killing his neighbor in September 2001, butchering him, putting his body parts in garbage bags and dumping them into Galveston Bay in TX. Note: Difference is that Durst needed 2 saws AND an axe to do the job.
Levi Aron is even using the same excuse that worked for Robert Durst — “I panicked.”
Sounds like this is going to be Pierre Bazile’s defense strategy too:
from NYT’s: ” Mr. DeGuerin, one of Mr. Durst’s lawyers, offered jurors a sympathetic portrayal of his client, saying Mr. Durst has struggled with a mild form of autism and severe addiction all his life, factors that he said had contributed to his PANICKED decision to get rid of the body. “You don’t need psychiatrists to explain to you what panic is,” he said.
Durst at least claimed self-defense. Levi Aron can’t.
If he’s acquited, he doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of walking the streets safely. Someone, somewhere is gonna invite him for a one way car ride to a wedding….
There are huge differences between the two cases. the evidence in the Anthony case did not prove that an actual murder took place. Over here there it was very clear that he murdered the poor boy. A jury wants to hear a clear murder scenario which was not forthcoming in the Anthony case. Over here the case is crystal clear. Feet in the freezer, blood in the kitchen and a suitcase with the rest. I wouldn’t worry about him going free.
This monster hid the child’s body in a suitcase, just like Casey Anthony. Coincidence?
I feel he will be free.
1) the judge seems well aware of the problem of “sensationalism.” Liberals always make a fuss out of the mass hysteria that follows such events. They call it “witch hunts” and they do everything to stop it.
2) the judge made it very clear to that lawyer whatever his name is that he can be assured all rights under the law.
3) During the CH riots, when the blacks were yelling kill Lypsyz, Dinkens was yelling on the bullhorn that he will be tried via court and via law, not via public lynching.
So when the judge sees everybody yelling murderer!! its very likely that he feels like its his duty to ‘quell’ the madness and teach the people that there is a law and order and only the law will decide
Also, since he was a yid, I have a feeling God has other plans for him. After all God runs the world, not some human who happened to get the case and sit in a black robe and leather chair.

“American Monster”? This Daily News article makes me sick. They are trivializing this horrific episode by turning it into some warped type of reality show.
What a crock of bs! He just happened to be in Orlando at the same time as the trial verdict came out, so what?! Btw, i don’t know why the media keeps saying that its unclear why he put the feet in the freezer, i’d say that the suitcase was too small and he had to chop the feet off, then he dumped the suitcase and planned to dump the feet somewhere else as soon as he got a chance. Anyhow, i don’t want to see the Devils face again, VIN please don’t post his pictures!
I am so happy in event Bubba doesn’t get to him first, that he will have his day in court with a real jury and not the paranoid VIN jury. For one, based on what has leaked, he admitted to it and was found with the evidence.
Real prisoners are not happy with “people” who kill little kids and do even worse. They have a way to deal with them in prison v’hamayvin yovin. Needless to say his miserable life is going to be hell on earth even before G-d deals with this vermin.
There are three possible explanations for this heinous act:
1) Aron was looking for attention, as this article claims, which he has gotten plenty of since his arrest. This seem unlikely, though, considering that he attempted to get rid of the body as best he could, and almost succeeded. If not for the surveillance camera video showing Leibby and Aron in front of that dentist’s office, he would still be free. He also looks as if he is distraught as to what he is going through, which would indicate this is not what he wanted.
2) Aron has a foot fetish and kidnapped the boy to satisfy it, keeping his feet for future gratification. He later panicked when he noticed the thousands of volunteers outside and wondered what would happen to him if the boy disclosed what had happened.
3) He just wanted company. His second ex-wife claims he is excellent with children, so it is possible he just wanted to be with one for a while. When he later realized that what he did was kidnapping, he panicked and killed the child.
Which of these is the most reasonable? I am not Aron, so I cannot say. I do not think we should continue to try and put ourselves into this guy’s head. We must move on.
