New York – Continuing to accept the death of their son with immeasurable emunah and dignity, the Kletzky family, upon rising from Shiva, has announced that an official fund has been established in memory of their son Leiby. The Leiby Kletzky Memorial Fund, which will be managed exclusively by Rabbi Binyomin Eisenberger and Leiby’s parents, Nachman and Esty Kletzky, will perpetuate Leiby’s memory by helping people in need, much the way Leiby’s parents envision he would have done had his life not been tragically cut short.

The fund, which hopes to raise one million dollars, is a 5013c IRS tax exempt non-profit organization and will provide assistance to families in crisis, both financial and otherwise.

After Yidden united so powerfully in achdus after the tragedy and gave so much nachas to Our Father in Heaven who likes to see His children getting along, and already you are at each other’s throats like a bunch of little kids? my husband gave them a letter from me at the shiva….a letter which i wrote how i extended an olive branch to family that has really betrayed me L’zeicher nishmas Leiby Z”L…….to my shock i recieved a call today from Rabbi kletzky thanking me for the letter!!!!!!!!! i was dumbstruck!!!! just mere hours after getting up from shiva – he called me..a nobody… to thank me for what i wrote!!! furthermore…..he offered me chizuk….regarding something written in the letter….i was shaking for 15 minutes and am still in shock!!! these are holy people!!!! people like the kletzky family will be the first ones to greet mashiach!!!! amazing!!
i am soooo worried about their healing but i see now that i do not have to worry. HaShem will take care of them…..they r tzaddikim I will continue to daven for them and beg all of you to do the same as they are only human and its so hard for the mind to grasp how they will heal….so please let us daven for R” nachman and Reb. Itta esther and their daughters and grandparents to have a nechama!!! and let us do mitzvos and be b’achdus L’zeicher nishmas Yehudah ben R’ Nachman!
