United Kingdom – Three Held After Violent Burglaries at Jewish Homes.

United Kingdom – Three men were being held by police last night in connection with a spate of violent burglaries at Jewish homes across Barnet which have struck fear across the community.

In seven vicious break-ins over the past two months, residents threatened with guns, swords and knives after being duped by men pretending to require assistance.

The burglaries in Edgware, Hendon and Golders Green led the Community Security Trust to warn residents about who they answer the door to.

However, on Tuesday the police investigation made significant progress when a number of people were arrested in connection with the burglaries. [totally jewish]
