    Wall Township, Monmouth County, NJ – A tanker accident has shut down a part of Interstate 195 in New Jersey.

    I-195 is closed in both directions between Exit 31 (Route 547 in Howell) and Exit 34 (Garden State Parkway).
    NJ State Police are reporting that a car going eastbound on 195 crossed the median near Route 34 and struck the tanker going westbound. The tanker is on fire at this time, with two aided injured, Fire Departments are spraying foam.

    Aided driver is DOA. State Police spokesman Steven Jones says the driver was entrapped in the truck. But it’s not clear whether he died in the fire or had some type of medical issue. [WABC-VIN]

    This is exit 98 on the GSP which is a major exit for lakewood (squankum rd)
