Police said Sunday, Two 16-year-olds were arrested and each charged with one count of first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder. One of the teenagers is a son of a Chicago Police officer, and was recently expelled from the high school.
The quick apprehension of the suspects are credited by Detectives that confirmed to VIN, that they were able to pull video from the Chicago Transit Authority bus security cameras and that the video clearly showed the gunman.
Police spokeswoman Monique Bond added to the media, There are several angles of surveillance tape that we’ve been able to capture.” the gunman was wearing a multicolored hooded sweat shirt or jacket with a camouflage or floral pattern.
“All of the images were unbelievably clear, including facial images,” Bond said. “We were able to quickly make an [identification] by showing employees of the school pictures and parts of the video.”
The MTA in NYC should take lesson of this that we need to have cameras on each NYC bus. [VIN]
