It is suspected that two men dressed in haredi clothing approached the workers, who were cleaning, and attacked them with pepper spray. They later escaped. Police forces launched a search.
Eretz yisroel is now at risk for a major conflict with several of its neighbors and attacks from within from the Palestinians and cannot afford to have such lunatics create more reasons for another Intafada. If the chareidim who committed these atrocities are identified and caught, the appropriate punishment would be to turn them over to the PA for trial.
Oh no they’ll be suspecting every second chusid that’s crazy
“perps dressed as charedim”? If this article was about two charedim assaulted by Arabs would the title say “perps dressed as Arabs” or would it just say “Arabs”? If someone chooses to put on the garb they are charedim who have committed a crime, period. In general I don’t care – they are Jews who committed a crime. We lose our ammunition as an entire Jewish nation if any Jew, Charedi or not decides to initiate an assault against Arabs. We used to be able to say “that is what Arabs do, not what Jews do”. Unfortunately, we can no longer say that. This just adds the fuel to the fire for the rest of the world that sees the Arabs in Israel as refugees.
This title “Chareidi” must be dropped. It creates only Chillul Hashem chas vesholem.
To be a chorid requires a lifetime of effort and working on ones middos. You can’t take a child, dress him up like a tzddik and then expect him to be one.
Even if you teach a bear to dance, he is not a ballerina.
This is only one side of the story
i am confused-if we dont know who they were, how do we know they were “dressed” as chareidim, and not chareidim????
Because they spoke with a modern sephardeshe accent
