    Wilton, CT – Wilton police battling rash of anti-Semitic graffitti slurs written on two signs advertising a Jewish fair weren’t the typical criminal mischief Wilton might see from time to time.

    Two Jewish organizations in Connecticut were called into Wilton recently to speak with officials about the recent surge of bias crimes over the past month.
    Representatives from the Connecticut Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish Federation of Wilton, Weston, Westport and Norwalk met with members of the police department.

    Since the beginning of April, swastikas and profanity have been spray-painted on signs and buildings on residential properties.
    The most recent case involves three homes on Collinswood Road. When someone painted swastikas and profanities in black on two garage doors and a shed.

    Capt. Michael Lombardo Confirmed to VIN that they are working with many local police Dept. including the FBI to help in the investigation. The Capt. Also confirmed that Tomorrow at 11AM will be a news conference at Wilton Police Dept. to discuss the investigation.
