New York, NY - Diamond mogul Lev Leviev Africa-Israel, which recently snapped up the old New York Times headquarters for $525 million, is said to be buying One Madison Avenue. The property is owned by SL Green Realty Corp. SL Green had planned to convert the 14-story building into condos in a joint venture with Ian Schrager and RFR Holdings. [nypost]
