Giffords, shot in the head while meeting with constituents on Jan. 8, will be interviewed with her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly. ABC said Monday that the discussion will air as part of a prime-time special Nov. 14. That’s the night before a book by Giffords and Kelly will be published. It’s titled “Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope.”
Giffords has slowly emerged as her recovery from the near-fatal brain injury continues. Her office had released a photo of her in June, and in August she appeared in Washington to vote on the debt ceiling bill.
Talk about politicizing acts of violence!
Instead of unifying the country after the horrible shooting, Obama held a pep rally bashing republicans and their ‘ rhetoric ‘.
As if the shooter was a card carrying member of the Republican party, and the attack on Giffords was an attack on democrats and progressives.
This attack was no more political than the attack at Columbine or the murder of Leiby a’h.
Shame on the media!
What a beautiful spirit she has! And what courage! What strength!
It was so amazing to see so many people in her district- even those who didn’t vote for her- holding up signs, waving at her car as it would pass by, and wishing her good luck.
Please somebody…
Tell me why it always has to take a tragedy, to get people to love one another & appreciate one another?
Interestingly Giffords is a direct descendant from the Turei Zahav.
And i am a direct descendant of David Hamelech…
Obama losses against any candidate, in most polls.
