Wurtsboro, NY – Police have arrested a 13-year-old boy who spray-painted “Hitler rules” and swastikas on the Emma Chase Elementary School.

After the graffiti was discovered, New York State Police began a full investigating, with more than 70 people in the village interviewed, leading to the suspect’s identification and his arrest, the even found the spray paint used to deface the school in his possession.
Police have charged the 13-year-old from Wurtsboro as a juvenile with third-degree criminal mischief and misdemeanor possession of graffiti instruments. He was released to his parents, pending an appearance in Sullivan County Family Court. [Record]
