You were a great visionary and from all the things I’ve read over the years, it seems that more importantly you were a MENTCH.
    Rest in peace, Steve.

So Sad! Most of us didn’t even know you personally but felt a connection, through one of the most incredible electronic inventions ever designed.
As a long time Apple user, I can attest that you’ve left your mark, Steve.
    My condolences to your kin….

really number 1? i think you are carried away on the spur by your emotions..
though death is a sobering reminder of our mortality, have a look what the BBC writes about your hero

However, in Jan 2011, Apple announced that Jobs would taking a leave of absence for health reasons.

“Unlike his contemporary, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Steve Jobs showed little inclination to use his personal wealth for philanthropic purposes.

And, strangely for a self-professed Buddhist, he did not embrace environmental concerns, with Apple coming under fire from Greenpeace for its reluctance to produce easily recyclable products.

Steve Jobs was a one off; a man who had total belief in his own abilities and a shortage of patience for anyone who failed to agree with him.”

Life is surely uncertain…all the wealth that one could ever use, yet it could not buy good health or long life…… 56 years old is far too young for someone to pass away.
