“Of course, we informed Shalit yesterday about reaching a deal on releasing him,” Abu Attaya, a spokesman for the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) in Gaza, told the German Press-Agency dpa.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet voted early Wednesday morning to approve the prisoner swap deal that will see Shalit return to Israel.
Who says he was informed? Hamas? I don’t believe a word they’re saying, why would they make a Jew happy with good news?
I would be much happier if someone, basically a representative of the Red Cross, was allowed to see him before this deal begins.
I hope we don’t get a dead body home. Can’t trust these monsters. From what I heard he’s on egypt custody now so I guess maybe that means he’s alive. Can’t imagine the happiness of this captive soldier. He probably long gave up of ever seeing his beloved ones again. Hope all works out well and this gets moving. Besires toives.
