Just a few blocks away from Zuccotti Park, where protesters have entered their second month of holding “Occupy Wall Street” demonstrations, the United Federation of Teachers is allowing occupiers to use a ground-floor storage space for donated goods.

“It is important that we have a place, especially with the weather, basically Mother Nature being herself. We have to store this stuff,” said protester Nan Terry.

The space also allows protesters to store personal items, keeping them warm and dry.

Some of the donations have even included winter gloves and socks, all necessary items to brave the cold as the protest stretches on towards the colder months.

“We are not asking permission to be here. We are occupying Wall Street. I don’t think anyone has any intention of going anywhere,” said Shan. “We’ve got a lot more work to do.”

A bunch of moranic people. What exactly is it that they want ? The only way to achieve something is by toppling this communist monarchist government in all three branches.

United Federation of Teachers should be fined for aiding illegal activities, the more news coverage they get the longer they stay, just ignore and let them have a slow death.

I am sorry to say but these people don’t want to work. To camp out 2 months and not look for work shows who you a dealing with. Just want to live off of other people’s money; which they want to take by force; read government takes by force and gives to the one who don’t want to work. This people don’t understand it can never work and in their communist utopia they will be transfer to Siberia, and going against the state. To me; is show how uneducated they are in life

Whatever you want to say about these people, they are correct. There is a fantastic amount of injustice in our economic system. Our government has been bought and paid for by corporations and large banks. Time to elect someone who will enforce a separation of economy and state as rigorously as that of church and state. Ron Paul 2012!
