New York, NY – Councilman Felders Attendance Record is Near-Perfect

New York, NY – Councilman Simcha Felder missed only one Council meeting last year. And that was for a pretty good reason.
“That was when they had the riots in Borough Park. I had to be here,” he said.

From committee meetings to full session, Felder has a near perfect 99.38% attendance record – the best among the Brooklyn delegation.

It’s no small feat. Felder is the chair of the Government Operations Committee and sits on four others: Education, Land Use, Mental Health and Zoning. [NY DN]
