The Food and Drug Administration is testing the Chinese toothpaste for diethylene glycol, a chemical commonly used in antifreeze and brake fluid, spokesman Doug Arbesfeld said Thursday. The imports will be released only if they test negative for the chemical.
Earlier this year melamine, a toxic chemical, reportedly was found in Chinese exports of wheat gluten, which is used in pet food. Contaminated pet food killed a number of cats and dogs in North America.

yes, kosher frum companies are risking our childrens health by making it in China. But why stop there, look at the frozen fish and you will discover that many prepackaged frozen fish packages are made in China. Think parasites and pollution.
I could barely trust the Chimese to make a safe plastic plate, food is ridiculous.

Next time you are in your local Kosher supermarket, please look at the candy isle. Check out frum candy companys and see where most of their stuff comes from.
You will surely faint.
