USA Today was second with 1.8 million, and The New York Times was third with 1.2 million on average from Monday to Friday. The Times had the highest circulation on Sundays with 1.6 million.

The figures released Tuesday by the Audit Bureau of Circulations cover the six months that ended on Sept. 30.

The numbers are not comparable with the figures from a year ago because of new rules governing what counts as circulation.

Compared with the October-March period, which had the same rules, the Times saw its circulation grow 25 percent.

Circulation at the Journal and USA Today dropped slightly.

The Daily News posted daily circulation of 605,677 over the Post’s 512,067 according to the Audit Bureau. The Sunday Daily News had 667. 638. But the NY Post really trails on Sunday– with just 380,000 copies. At the end of the day most ppl prefer a real newspaper over a gossip garbage like the Post.

Its good to see that the NYT is dropping like a rock. American’s are sick of their Anti American, liberal bias.
Oh and BTW the WSJ & the Post have the same owner.

I switched to the WSJ years ago.
In all fairness we must note that the NYT is primarily a NY paper while the WSJ, like USA Today is nationwide. I am not referring to distribution but focus.
