The Hate Crimes Task Force is looking into a swastika painted on a sidewalk near the corner of Berry and 10th Streets in Williamsburg.

The area is home to many Hasidic Jews.

Someone appears to have covered the swastika with white paint.

Williamsburg Shomrim Patrol told VIN News that the swastikas and hate messages were found on Friday morning, on the sidewalk at South 10th Street and Berry Street, and other hate messages painted on South 8th Street and Bedford Avenue.

NYPD Hate Crime Unit and the 90th Precinct are investigated the incident as a hate crime.
