The Texas congressman said Sunday that Iran’s nuclear weapons program has been “blown out of proportion.” He said tough sanctions are a mistake, because in the case of Iraq, they only hurt the local population and still paved a path to war.

When asked on “Fox News Sunday” what he would do to deter Iran’s alleged nuclear ambitions, Paul said “maybe offering friendship to them.”

Paul’s remarks put him at odds with both the Bush and Obama administrations; U.S. policy has relied heavily on sanctions and diplomacy to try to convince Tehran to abandon its atomic program. Iran says its nuclear program is peaceful.

I really like Ron Paul. If we elect him president, not only will Iran have a nuclear weopon in 4 years, but it probably will be an American Made Arm. Good job Ron. You are my all time hero and I want to give you a thousand dollars for your campaign. Right?

    That is called political suicide.

May Hashem Yisborach bless Ron Paul to become President of the United States and save us from the madness of World War Three in which millions of people, both Jews and non-Jews will be killed. Amen ve-Amen.

Back in 1939, not so long ago that Ron Paul could claim ignorance, British prime minister Chamberlain after meeting with hitler YM”S about the nazis conquest of Czechslovakia, naively announced ‘peace in our time’.
Chamberlain’s ineptitude and sheer stupidity helped hitler bring on WWII.
Whilst Ron Paul won’t take a page from history and realize appeasement never works , I will, by not voting for today’s Chamberlain, Ron Paul.

I’m a psychologist. Ron Paul is completely nuts. I must take issue with comment #4 . If Paul thought he would lose much support, he’d have kept his trap shut. I think he believes he can outlib the liberals and Obama and steal that vote. But this fool thinks that befriending a Muslim country brings peace. All the efforts in the Middle east to bring peace brought hostility and war. Nothing would be as dangerous as to “make nice” to Iran. The current regime in Iran needs to be eradicated without a trace left behind. Then there might be peace. Paul is not committing political suicide – it’s political mass murder.

History shows us that there are always evil people whose only purpose is to gather as much power as possible. They will kill as many people as is necessary to achieve their goal. We had Stalin, Hitler, the czars of Russia etc. For Ron Paul to make such an idiotic statement shows that he is not qualified to be President.

Ron Paul, and his son in the Senate are no friend of Yidden. It is a blessing that he has as little support as he does. I hope that it stays that way!
