Cops found 27 empty Corona bottles at the scene of a Midwood hate crime yesterday, in which someone set fire to three vehicles on a synagogue-filled stretch of Ocean Parkway and then scribbled swastikas and other shocking messages on cars and park benches surrounding the targeted cars.

“Whoever did this are intelligent bigots,” Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes told The Post.

The bottles will be tested for fingerprints and DNA, said Hynes.

Corona beer is from Mexico. Does this mean the bad guys are Mexicans? That should be a lead for the police.

Finger prints ALL over the bottles. Case will be solved within 1 week.

Maybe the Mexican boyfriends of the maids on the block.

    Irish also drink Corona.

These beer bottles must not be related to this incident at all. It might be there from the retired Russians playing cards there the entire week. ( although they would rather prefer vodka…)

    Did you expect Heineken?

Hundreds of cars had to pass by during the time a gang was drinking 30 bottles of beer. People saw what was going on. The 70th pct is 3 blocks away, police had to see something as well as the private security that drives through the street several times an hour.

Corona is also a slightly higher priced beer too, so that means that these despicable criminals have some money to spend too.

Even if fingerprints are found on the bottles, if the perpetrators have no prior criminal records, those fingerprints will not help one iota!

Come on! Whomever burned three cars with igniters and accelerantes, brought along spray cans and made sure there no surveillance cameras. Did NOT sit around and drink 25+ bottles of beer. The Hardy Boys will teach you that.

The date it happened is anniversary of Kristalnacht.
    I hope that’s not lost on the investigators. Nov. 9 & 10, 1938.
P.S. NYPD trucks made announcements on Shabbos in the area asking for the publics help. Strangely, they gave wrong timing of incident. At 5:30am, there was already a large police/fire presence. Why NYPD would ask if you were in the area before 7am?

I totally agree with #11 . They’ve got more brains than to sit and drink beer at the site. Unless they’re just hooligans that got so drunk after hanging out all night and decided to torch the cars without advance planning. To #10 why wouldn’t it help if they don’t have a criminal record? Aren’t all fingerprints of citizens registered? I think mine are. (Unless they’re illegal)

    How are they “intelligent” bigots?

Apparently they aren’t that intelligent since they left a treasure trove of beer bottles with ID numbers on them, finger prints, and DNA.
