Brooklyn, NY – The hunt for a killer is on in Brooklyn after police said a woman was stabbed to death just steps away from her home.

Larisa Komsky, 50, was killed while walking home after parking her car on Homecrest Avenue before 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Komsky was stabbed twice in the leg and once in the hand, police said. She was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital.
Witnesses told police they saw a green mini-van fleeing from the scene.
Shocked neighbors described Komsky as a friendly woman, who went to shul regularly at a synagogue on her block.
Komsky, an accountant, ran her own business in Sheepshead Bay, a couple of miles from her home.
“It’s unbelievable,” Boris Feldman, who owns a business in the same building as Komsky, said. “Very terrible news for us. She’s a beautiful person. The nicest person I know of.”
Detectives removed a box of files from Komsky’s office Tuesday.
At first detectives thought Komsky was killed by someone she had a relationship with but Guzman reports video has ruled that out.
A motive for the murder remains unknown.
The investigation is ongoing.

It was also reported that ambulance took forever to come. As the operator kept asking who what when repeatedly!!!!!

I can’t believe it. So so sad. She taught an entrepeneurial/business class for frum women a few years ago in Williamsburg. I used her accounting services too. She was very, very nice and patient. Intelligent, refined and very ehrlich. A tragedy.
Drawing swastikas and car burnings are very Nazi-like behaviors. So is murdering innocent Jews. We are not saying that there is mass murder or genocide going on c”v, but there is indisputably a rise in anti-Semitism. We are in golus!

Whenever a Russian immigrant is involved, chances are it is either a crime of passion or related to business activities. This is not anti-Semitism. It’s a mob hit or a family feud.

I have heard she was taken out by a pro , and it was in connection with a shady client of her accountant practice
Why is this crime covered in obscurity ? Over 24 hours have passed and we get the same few paragraphs than at the begining. Nothing published in the orthodox written press. Something very strang here.
B. D. E. I agree with #46 ; I have uttered those sentiments before. However, whenever a reference is made to that particular community, and its criminal activities, scores of people come to their defense. The reason that these homicides keep occuring seems to be the permissive atmosphere which exists in our society. The perps know that their chances of getting arrested are less than 50%; and, their chances of getting convicted are even less than that. Therefore, it appears to be a gamble which they are willing to take. Also, the Parole Boards in many states routinely release deviant predators out onto the streets. Many of them reoffend again within a brief period. The Parole Boards are not really accountable to the general public. However, if members of the Parole Board were made personally liable, and they were hit in the pocketbooks, this situation might change.
