    In Upstate New York — Verizon turned on new cell sites at big summer vacation spots in Upstate New York, including Old Forge, Lake George and Six Flags Darien Lake.

    to 3:11 pm this is “1:04 pm” thanks for the info, well since their isn’t any cell coverage
    we’ll talk cb radio,I hope everything will be 10-4 on the northway in the meantime vin should keep up their 10-34 on the apa and then we could go 10-98.

    The cell phone service on the 87 Thruway ( also called the Northway ) stops between exits 24 – 32 approximately an hour’s worth of driving. I drive it 2-3 times a month.

    all sprint customers listen up! if you have free roaming, and you have a spot where the service is not the greatest just go to prefrences and switch your phone to roaming only, you automaticly gets switched to verizon towers.

    can anybody advise from were to were their is no cell service, so I will speed up a little just to get out of this danger zone.

    this is a good way to stage war with the apa, by having service encircling the apa they will be forced to except them and shake hands for any cell company’s.
