Facing $350 million in red ink in the fiscal year ending March 31 and up to $3.5 billion in 2012-13, Cuomo pleaded with New York’s congressional delegation to fight “dramatic” federal cuts being weighed by Washington’s deficit-closing “supercommittee.”

Cuomo said “proportional cuts” would cost New York $2.4 billion in Medicaid and Medicare and “likely result in closure of fiscally fragile health-care institutions, impact individual access to services and displace thousands of health-care employees.”

And imagine if obamacare kicks in and they’ll start paying for everybody , how much more money will they have then?! Besides that’s what happens when the government pays for you , they decide when , where , and how they’re going to pay!

Abolish Obamacare and those over 70 unless full of money we give a shot potassium chloride and eleminate the surplus. A few civilized countries have government supported medical insurance but these are ” leftist socialist ” countries. As long the Medicaid in Lakewood is not touched to h’ll with the others. How about 2nd amendment remedy chochom.

Most likely the Supreme Court will affirm Obamacare a system which works in Germany, Austria, Netherland, Danemark, France, Sweden and a few other civilized countries where human is life is valued regardless of age, “talmud status” and Dunn and Bradstreet qualifications.

Your research was done poorly or at 1st grade level. According to the WHO U.S. ranks poorly in cost and delivery of health care

“Gov. Cuomo warned that potential federal spending cuts could close New York health-care institutions and “widen the state budget gap next year and in the future.”

Yes, but try explaining that to the millions of uninformed in this country, who actually WANT the Federal Gov’t to stop providing health care to people!

You’d be surprised at how many (Ron Paul & his ilk) want to completely ABOLISH Medicare & Medicaid all together!

Is this what we’ve come to as a people?!?!

Are we so “IT’S MY MONEY!!!” now, that we can’t even muster up enough compassion for people who are elderly, handicapped or underprivileged?!

“BUT WE DON’T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY!!!” they’ll say, but…

YES WE DO! (lol) If certain greedy people, health care companies, SOME doctors& the pharmacuedical companies wouldn’t be SOOO greedy in this country…

We’d probably have more than enough health care for everyone!

Too bad some people love money, more than they enjoy taking care of others, healing the sick & providing for the disenfranchised!

    Oh well!

Man you don’t get. Right now my insurance rate and hosptal fees are calculated to cover the loss incurred by the hospitals from medicaid a la Lakewood and others without insurance. The hospital rate reflect these losses calculated by actuarist now you get man. However, broad medical coverage would diminish these cost because it would be carried by a broader segment of the population. You get it man

MAn you don’t understand or Rush saturated you. Broad insurance coverage will cover and the government will pay less. Right now the government pays for Lakewood medicaid, the uninsured and not only I am charged too. See young man these statistician calculate how much hospitals must charge to cover the uninsured and they determine the rates. Instead state taxes will go up when the federal subsidies swill be shifted to the states, get it man

Man if there would be a broader coverage and preventive administered actuarists would base their hospital and insurance rates on these statistics and health cost would go down
