Authorities say the demonstrators were warned repeatedly Saturday night that they would face arrest if they didn’t leave Lafayette Park.

Protester Kevin Haran says troopers have been arresting people two at a time. He says 30 to 40 people remain in the park.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has vowed to have anyone arrested who violates the park’s curfew. The park land is adjacent to the city-owned Academy Park, where Occupy Albany demonstrators protesting economic inequality and corporate greed have been allowed to camp out since Oct. 21.

So far, more than 60 Occupy protesters have been arrested for defying the curfew. Most have been charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct, both low-level violations.

I’m sure it will help the protesters job chances when an arrest shows on a background check….that is assuming that they really want to work!
