New York – The former New York City mayor — who said in September that he’s “on board” with Barack Obama’s reelection campaign, said that he hopes Michael Bloomberg will enter the 2012 race and address the “lack of leadership” in Washington.

“I believe there is a major chance of a third party winning and I would like to see him pursue it for 2012,” Koch said. “What I believe he offers is independence and money to finance a campaign and to be president.”
Please today is Thanksgiving, not Purim. So Mr. Koch save your Purim spiel.
God forbid ih he’s runing for office!
thats all we need right now someone Jewish and worth billions for president no wonder he didnt show up in Brooklyn during the anti semitic attack he must be running for President
It would be a mistake for Bloomberg to run. Eleven years ago, there was plenty of anti-semitism expounded openly, as well as on the internet, when Lieberman was on the number two spot (Vice-President) with Al Gore. It was incredible, since forty years earlier, the USA had voted for a Catholic President. However, the USA is still not ready to elect a Jewish President; it is a fact of life. If G-d forbid, he was elected, and things went terribly wrong, all of the Jews would be blamed. Jews are presently blamed for everything; however, this would only make things worse, and add fuel to the fire. Mayor Bloomberg, forgetaboutit!
Mr Koch’ke , we dont need another lesson in CHANGE.
Gobble Gobble
Der kotchka vil az His Arrogance aka Bloomberg should run. I think he’s quaking up the wrong tree!
Bloomberg would make a great president
Just because his team botched up on the 2010 blizzard
And he supports things which yiden should not
Does not damage his leadership skills
And yes he has a little arrogance
But smart leaders sometimes need arrogance because otherwise they would fall to the nay Sayers and get no where
How ever our current president is arrogant and notsmart
So he is what you call
A fool that’s dug in
That’s all we need……..oysh!
The reason Bloomberg supported gay marriage during his third term so strongly was his plan to run for president. His main problem is that he is devorced and single and that could hinder his chances. What does this Chocham do, he passes gay marriage and makes gays look normal and now he is more normal looking in the eyes of the American public, since he is straight. This was a very clever move on his part. In his past two terms when asked about gay marriage, his response was GO TO THE COURTS.
I wish he runs and wins. Enough with career politicians
To #7 -Sammy L- David Letterman, on his late night show in 2000, made fun of Lieberman being an observant Jew. In addition to his degrading remarks, there was a lot of hate comments expounded on the internet concerning Lieberman. I can’t believe that you were not aware of it.
Hey Mr. Kotch, Is it that you now want the white house be named after you as well?
Ok let’s think how it will look like:
legalize gay marriage for the entire USA,
Raise taxes across the board except for the rich (they are taxed enough),
Muslims and mosque’s on every block,
Ticketing for every little thing,
Etc. Etc. But he will still ride the mta to travel cause he’s a regular american citizen.
Enough of his public office for this person…
Me thinks Bloomberg would make a great US President. Especially in the tough fiscal situation the US is currently in. And as always, it boils down to the choices on Election Day. If it was Bloomberg Vs. Obama, Bloomberg would take the house by a landslide.
At least Koch realizes that the Republicans would never nominate Bloomberg. I don’t think Bloomberg would consider a third party run, but if he did, it wouldn’t simply be Bloomberg vs. Obama. Bloomberg and the Republican would split the anti-Obama vote, resulting in Obama’s re-election.
