After leaving Salomon Brothers, Mayor Bloomberg started his own business because “nobody offered me a job, I was probably too proud to go look for one, and I said well why not start your own company.”

long before he became mayor bloomberg was a household name in the financial industry, the man has invented the best financial information tools, for those of us in the finance business there is nothing u can not find on the bloomberg, no wonder at 2000 per month per terminal times lose to 400,000 terminals do the math.
It’s wonderful to see a man of such great stature and wealth be so humble.
Despite all the comments here, I am happy that this bright man chooses to be mayor of NYC.
