The New Israel Fund (NIF) is planning to compile the photographs into posters to display in Jerusalem.
Similar posters of Israeli women are being displayed by Yerushalmim, an organisation opposed to religious extremism and gender segregation which is funded by the NIF.
The appeal to British and American Jewish women is to show “this struggle is not just waged by the women of Jerusalem alone. It is the struggle of people of conscience everywhere”, says the NIF.
kol kvuda bas melech pinima.
NIF is a radical self-hating pro-Arab rag group.
can’t believe what i read. how against tznius… we all have the same torah.
how they succeed
from the article
Ohad Gibli of the Canaan advertising agency, which launched a campaign to attract organ donors using only images of men, told Israel Army Radio: “We have learned that an ad campaign in Jerusalem … that includes pictures of women will remain up for hours at best, and in other cases, will lead to the vandalisation and torching of buses.”
This struggle sould continue, israel is a jewish land and if your not up to par as your more orthodox jewish brothers in tznius (which I hope I don’t need to explain why this is not tznius) ok, but don’t fight people who are trying to keep a holy place, holy !!
My husband says I am. I don’t need scantily-clad women on billboards to give my “voice” resonance. I’m a Jewish woman respected by my husband, children, co-workers, peers, & strangers for conducting myself professionally & personally as befits a Bas Melech.
How about a campaign to stop objectifying woman as — objects
Exact opposite of tznius! Women should not be seen and heard!
If you have such a strong case, why do you need to recruit pple to join you? It would be one thing if they’d be successful in recruiting women of other crowds to join them. But by looking at this pic; it’s all the same repatative mentality. And just on comment of priority; there’s so much separation and disrespect as it is in the israeli government and society; does it really have to be that way? This is such an uncalled for movement. Until the leftists and whoever else will not realize that the way the chareidi system is built is here to stay; especially when it comes to halachic instances and psakim of tzaddikim and gedolim, there will always be division. They’re mind is motivated by the same zealousness chip in there that the sikrikim have. No less. It”s just that they’re more exposed to what the laws are; had they not been they too would’ve been violent. And a note to vosizneias: you are so out of line with the Torah. The editor of this website must’ve been a very beat up and angry boy that never found peace. Had you found peace within , then a bit more respect would’ve been attributed and seen by your posted articles. You might be successful with this website; cus even I’m
Why are you giving this group any recognition by reporting about them on this sight!
You are helping a tempest in a tea pot to gain steam. WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON!!!

Modern Orthodox ChelmiTe who believes if they cant respect the Yerusalmi standards they should take their campaign to Saudia Arabia
Nonsense. There is no halacha against seeing a picture of a modestly dressed woman nor is there a halacha against hearing a woman speak (as opposed to sing).
In the end, the campaign against ads showing women (to the extent of cropping a picture showing Hillary Clinton) and even mentioning women’s names (to the extent of not mentioning Tzippy Livni even when she was Foreign Minister and running Caroline Glick’s column under the byline “C. Glick”) is liable to boomerang and cause people to have disdain for real halachot and be a general chillul Hashem.
People who have nothing better to do than think of wacky chumrot should either get jobs or go into intensive bet midrash programs (maybe then they will learn some Halacha).
Good luck—-you’ll need it.
i feel woman have equal values and rights
Soon men will be asked to submit their pictures to be posted in Tel aviv, if the feminist take over. It looks like men will need to be heard.
Please don’t go extreme to the other end. Thank you.
Women can be seen an heard as long as conducted tzniusly.
Too extreme either way is no good.
