Washington – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is holding back some information on Republican Newt Gingrich that could detract from his presidential campaign, according to a report published Monday.

“One of these days we’ll have a conversation about Newt Gingrich,” Pelosi told Talking Points Memo. “When the time is right. … I know a lot about him. I served on the investigative committee that investigated him, four of us locked in a room in an undisclosed location for a year. A thousand pages of his stuff.”
Gingrich reacted to Pelosi’s comments by thanking her for an “early Holiday gift.”
He also said Pelosi would be violating House rules and abusing the ethics process if she disclosed anything from the ethics investigation.
Why does this not qualify as extortion?
So she’s been sitting on all this stuff, keeping it secret from the public? Can we say co-enabler? (Not just her, of course, but all of Congress that’s involved in these “hide it away” games).

Gingrich might have a very valid point when he says she ‘would be violating House rules and abusing the ethics process if she disclosed anything from the ethics investigation’. Get a good lawyer, Newt.
Princess Pelosi should promptly be investigated for attempting to influence an election especially when she wants to release classified info.
Her threat certainly sounds illegal, like extortion — i’ll reveal something damaging unless you decline to run for public office.
This is the oldest thing in politics. Always was and always will be exposing the other party. As they say if can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen.
